Hosted by Kean University and the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability, this workshop is part of an EPA grant designed to help campus communities learn about campus sustainability as well as how to track and lower greenhouse gas emissions.  The workshop is free to attend, and registration is required.

Hosted by the American Association of Community Colleges' SEED initiative, this webinar will dicuss how community colleges are a qualified workforce to support the sustainable argiculture sector in rural regions, as well as how their strategic and active regional partnerships are leading to the growth of jobs.  The webinar is held on December 8, 2011, from 2-3pm ET.

The Foundations of Sustainability: Concept and Communication workshop is the first in the University of Oregon's Sustainability Leadership Workshops.  It will be held Wednesday September 14 from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.  The all day workshop will focus on the basic principles of sustainability and provide a framework and resources for additional learning.

The 22nd annual Bioneers Conference will be held this October 14th -16th, 2011 at Marin Center, San Rafael, California.  This years conference theme is Breakdown to Breakthrough: Reimagining Civilization in the Age of Nature, Breakthrough Solutions for People and Planet. The Bioneers Conference is a leading forum on environmentalism and sustainability focusing on social and scientific innovations.

The Renewable Energy Markets Conference will discuss the role of clean energy in the economy and in climate action initiatives.  The forum will provide an introduction to renewable energy, renewable energy certificates and creating credible markets.  Topics will include market growth opportunities, marketing, policy and market trading.  The conference will be held November 15-18, 2011 in San Francisco, California.
