Technical Assistance & Capacity Building Conference for MSIs
"Creating a Presence - Giving a New Perspective" is the fourth annual technical assistance and capacity building conference geared towards all Minority Serving Institutions. This is an opportunity for the MSI community to learn more about partnerships, compliance/regulatory requirements, commercialization innovation (technology transfer), and funding opportunities with federal agencies. The conference runs on September 20-23, 2010, and is FREE to attend.
UNCF Building Green Learning Insitute (6/10 - 6/12)
The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Institute for Capacity Building and Second Nature will be organizing regional learning institutes for networking and information sharing among minority-serving institutions (MSIs). The Building Green Learning Institute will provide campus leaders responsible for advancing sustainability and green building at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges with best practices, resources and technology solutions for greening campuses.
