Climate Leadership Conference (2/29-3/1)
The first annual Climate Leadership Conference will be held from February 29th - March 1st 2012 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The conference will unite leaders from diverse sectors to discuss best practices and share ideas in regards to sustainability in addressing climate change.
Sustainability Leadership Program (9/26-9/30)
The University of Oregon will host a series of workshops regarding leadership in the sustainability sector. The workshops will discuss the foundation and practical tools necessary to lead the way towards sustainability at Universities, organizations, communities and on an individual basis. The workshops will be held between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm between September 26 and September 30, 2011.
UNCF ICB Building Green Learning Institute (6/6-6/18)
Join UNCF, TMCF, HACU, AIHEC, Second Nature and many Minority-Serving Institutions for the 4th Building Green Learning Institute. This Institute will provide discussions on best practices, planning, financing, building, operating, and certifying green buildings. The event is scheduled for June 16-18, 2011. Registration is required.
UBC Summer Institute in Sustainability Leadership (7/4-7/8)
Hosted by the University of British Columbia, this one-week Institute brings together people from different sectors to take a leadership role in developing policy, creating plans, and managing sustainability projects. This event is scheduled for July 4-8, 2011.
The 2011 Behavior, Energy and Climate Change Conference (11/29-12/2)
The conference’s focus is on the practical applications of social and behavioral research in order to address today’s energy and climate challenges. Previous conferences included discussions on policies and program strategies by participants from universities, government, corporations, and media. The conference is scheduled for November 29-December 2, 2011.
