Renewable Energy Markets Conference (11/15-11/18)

The Renewable Energy Markets Conference will discuss the role of clean energy in the economy and in climate action initiatives.  The forum will provide an introduction to renewable energy, renewable energy certificates and creating credible markets.  Topics will include market growth opportunities, marketing, policy and market trading.  The conference will be held November 15-18, 2011 in San Francisco, California.

UNCF ICB Building Green Learning Institute (6/6-6/18)

Join UNCF, TMCF, HACU, AIHEC, Second Nature and many Minority-Serving Institutions for the 4th Building Green Learning Institute.  This Institute will provide discussions on best practices, planning, financing, building, operating, and certifying green buildings.  The event is scheduled for June 16-18, 2011.  Registration is required.

The 2011 Behavior, Energy and Climate Change Conference (11/29-12/2)

The conference’s focus is on the practical applications of social and behavioral research in order to address today’s energy and climate challenges. Previous conferences included discussions on policies and program strategies by participants from universities, government, corporations, and media. The conference is scheduled for November 29-December 2, 2011.

Climate Modeling and Data Tools Workshop (8/8-8/11)

This is a 4-day training workshop with a focus on the use of a global climate model and tools to integrate and visualize climatic, environmental, and socioeconomic data for teaching about climate change. The workshop is free and open to faculty in any discipline from any college or university. Inquiries about the program should be sent to Neil Leary at learyn@dickinson.edu.  The workshop is schedule for August 8-11, 2011.
