Campus Green Builder

This mini-conference by the Society of College and University Planners will address campus sustainability commitments, stewardship of natural resources, and sustainable best practices in budgeting, academics, student affairs, and facilities.

The virtual conference is expected to bring together more than 100 virtual attendees to learn about sustainability financing strategies, master planning, energy management, and institutionalizing sustainability on your campus. The presentations will focus on operational solutions for a low-carbon campus, smart growth policies, and strategies for achieving climate neutrality.

This workshop is for people at institutions that have posted their greenhouse gas inventories and are preparing their climate action plans, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills for leading workshops on climate action planning and campus/community engagement. This workshop is presented by The American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment.

This comprehensive symposium features sessions and workshops on smart growth and sustainable practices that serve the economy, the community, and the environment. This year’s theme “Making the Business Case” is geared toward both experienced practitioners and newcomers and includes a new track titled "Financing Sustainability".
