The University of Maryland will be hosting the 7th annual Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference on April 16th-17th. The conference will be open to campus directors and staff who are working towards sustainability. College and Universities have the opportunity to present their progress and practices. Presentation proposals are being excepted until January 5th, 2012.
This is a pre-conference workshop in advance of NACUBO’s Smart & Sustainable Campuses Conference. This hands-on workshop will discuss about how to set reduction targets, prioritize and compare carbon reduction projects, and incorporate results in the climate action plan.
The conference features sessions and workshops on smart growth and sustainable practices at colleges and universities that also serve the economy, the community, and the environment. The conference is scheduled for April 3-5, 2011, in College Park, MD. Discounted fees are available for early bird registration.
