• USGBC Webinar Series
  Throughout 2010 and 2011, USGBC plans to launch 2-3 webinars each month as part of their educational resources focusing on innovation and best practices in sustainable building and LEED.  There are currently 30 webinars available.
• BrightTALK Green Building Summit
  Builders, companies and consumers are increasingly looking to move into green building and improve the efficiency of existing structures to provide cost savings and create a more sustainable ecosystem of buildings. These webcasts cover the benefits of green building and will discuss technical, conceptual, and logistical issues emerging in design and construction.

• NEXUS Exhibitor Showcase: The Existing Building Challenge
  

  The Green Roundtable presented a showcase of green products and technologies for existing buildings. This event was geared towards building owners, engineers, architects, and other real estate and construction industry professionals.

• Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Facilities Conference
  This intensive conference by Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International highlighted case studies from hospital systems that have leveraged their real estate to accomplish their strategic goals. Attendees gained insights from leading experts into how capital projects can be financed, how hospitals are implementing new IT infrastructure, and what trends healthcare executives are watching.
• Greenhouse Gases and Green Buildings
  This USGBC webinar gave participants an understanding of the core issues surrounding greenhouse gas emissions and green buildings. Speakers explored fundamental concepts, accounting requirements, important reduction goals related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions – and cutting edge strategies needed to meet these goals.
• Spring Green Design Workshop
  This workshop featured presentations that focused on the New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS) High Performance Campus Design Guideline.
• Bridging Ecological Research & Urban Design
  During this webcast, Dr. Alexander Felson, lecturer at Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and School of Architecture discussed the connections between ecological research and urban design.
• 2010 Chill Out Webcast
  During this webcast, the National Wildlife Federation featured the winners of 2010's Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming competition, the nation's premier competition showcasing campus-based climate action. The webcast featured students, faculty and staff making a difference on their campuses.
• American Association of Community Colleges 2010 Convention
  The annual conference for the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) connected professionals in the fields of education, business, industry, and the government sector.
• Tufts Energy Conference
  This conference by the Tufts Energy Forum gathered leading minds in the energy industry and interested students to discuss applications of innovative ideas and solutions to today’s pertinent energy challenges. The 2010 conference examined how our energy systems have evolved since the industrial revolution and the challenges these systems face in the 21st century.
• Climate Policy 101: The College Student's Guide to U.S. Climate Legislation
  This webinar by the National Wildlife Federation’s Campus Ecology Program summarized the state of affairs for the climate bill, cap and trade, potential roadblocks, and opportunities for job creation and education. The University Sustainability Program and the Community College Act was also highlighted.
• Solutions Module Boot-Camp: Using the Campus Carbon Calculator™ for your Climate Action Planning
  The American College & University Presidents' Climate Commitment and Clean Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP) presented this half-day workshop on how to effectively compare climate mitigation projects, their carbon reductions, and financial returns. This workshop was designed for colleges and universities that completed their greenhouse gas inventory but had not yet completed their climate action plan.
• NJHEPS Sustainability Education Workshop: Building Communities of Practice
  The New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS) launched a new initiative at this Sustainability Education Workshop. The goal is to develop Communities of Practice as a powerful strategy aimed at making sustainability a new foundational paradigm for higher education.
• Building Green at MSIs Learning Institute
  The UNCF's Building Green at MSIs Initiative helps build knowledge and capacity through a series of Building Green Learning Institutes to help Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) both incorporate principles of sustainable design and energy efficiency into their building projects, and to overcome barriers that often include small endowments and low in-house expertise in green building practices.
  
• SCUP 2010 Southern Metro Mini
  This mini-conference by the Society of College and University Planners addressed campus sustainability commitments, stewardship of natural resources, and sustainable best practices in budgeting, academics, student affairs, and facilities.
• SCUP 2010 Pacific Regional Conference
  This 3-day regional conference of the Society of College and University Planners focused on new integrated campus planning and implementation strategies required for a success in an era of financial uncertainty.
• Higher Education and COP15: What Happened, and Now What?
  An interdisciplinary team of Dickinson College students and faculty who attended the climate negotiations as part of a 'Kyoto to Copenhagen' course discussed how higher education and its community members (professors, administrators, students) can show climate leadership on our campuses as individuals and as an industry, and the importance of using our success in climate change reporting (greenhouse gas inventories) and emissions reductions plans to strengthen national and international progress on these issues.
• Spring Clean Energy Workshop
  This workshop featured different energy-efficiency models and options for colleges and universities to engage in campus sustainability initiatives.
• Greener Buildings, Factories and Infrastructure
  This free conference by Siemens provided the opportunity to learn how energy conservation and management, automation, and green building efforts are transforming businesses large and small, government agencies, military bases, industrial facilities, and medical and educational complexes. It also offered practical seminars on technology, best practices, and emerging trends, along with a technology showcase.
• Student Sustainability Summit
  Student leaders in New Jersey participated in focus groups on topics including: Energy; Waste; Community; Climate and Environmental Science 101; and Organizing and Producing Change. This event was hosted at Ramapo College and co-sponsored by 1Step (Students Together for Environmental Progress).
• Student Leadership and Careers
  This National Wildlife Federation webinar focused on the opportunities that are available in the conservation field and what skills students need to have to become leaders in this field.
• SCUP 2010 North Atlantic Regional Conference
  This 3-day regional conference of the Society of College and University Planners focused on the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the practice of planning in higher education.
• Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference Virtual Event
  This virtual conference is expected brought together more than 100 virtual attendees to learn about sustainability financing strategies, master planning, energy management, and institutionalizing sustainability on your campus. The presentations focused on operational solutions for a low-carbon campus, smart growth policies, and strategies for achieving climate neutrality.
• Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference
  This comprehensive symposium featured sessions and workshops on smart growth and sustainable practices that serve the economy, the community, and the environment. The theme “Making the Business Case” was geared toward both experienced practitioners and newcomers and includes a new track titled "Financing Sustainability". 
• SCUP 2010 Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference
  This 3-day regional conference of the Society of College and University Planners addressed the issue of engaged planning at higher education institutions.
• SUNY Green Building Conference 2010
  This annual conference by the SUNY College of Environmental and Forestry Sciences promotes, educates and supports green building design, construction and processes.
• Built Green Conference 2010
  The primary focus of the conference was to educate the local and regional building industry on quality green building practices, products, and projects, as well as inspiring groups to continue to strive to build more sustainable communities.
• NESEA Building Energy Conference 2010
  Annual conference and tradeshow by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association for renewable energy and green building professionals.
• ACE Annual Meeting 2010
  The Annual meeting of the American Council on Education connects higher education leaders to discuss critical issues facing the higher education community.
• Renewable Energy Supplier Summit
  This event is organized by the Commercial Building Energy Alliance Steering Committee members, in coordination with DOE, and offers building owners and operators an opportunity to communicate their renewable energy needs directly to suppliers of renewable energy equipment and ask suppliers to find ways to meet those challenges.
• AASHE Focus Call: "Effective Campus Energy Conservation"
